Mezzo-soprano and actress Barbora de Nunes-Cambraia was shortlisted for the 2016 Thalia Award for the title role in Carmen (Silesian Theatre, Opava) and received a longlist nomination in 2026 for her portrayal of Andronico in Mysliveček’s opera Tamerlano (J. K. Tyl Theatre, Plzeň). Her voice combines a mezzo-soprano timbre with a range extending into the dramatic soprano Fach known as Falcon.
