Pilsen brought a musically and actingly mature Tito to the Prague festival

A real emotional experience, at least for me, was the duet "Ah, perdona al primo affetto" by Annio (Barbora de Nunes-Cambraia) and Servilia (Zuzana Koś Kopřivová) in the first act. The technical prowess and color of both voices met with appropriate acting, and the viewer suddenly didn't even need a reading device to be sure what was being sung about and could experience the scene properly.
